Jessica Barest, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing comprehensive eye care since 1996.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Haverford College, Dr. Barest earned her M.D. degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Barest completed an internship in internal medicine at Greenwich Hospital, followed by her ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary .
Dr. Barest is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Barest is an attending physician at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she also serves on the teaching staff for the ophthalmology residency training program.
Dr. Barest is dedicated to her profession, and has been honored by her peers as a New York Times Magazine Super Doctor.
